In the world of skip-gen travel, memories are the ultimate currency.

The question for high-end hotels and resorts is how to extend those memories beyond a single stay—and connect them to guest loyalty in a practical way.

GCSTIMES supports hoteliers in doing this through custom wooden key cards linked to children’s on-property art activities. During a family’s first stay, children participate in art workshops or cultural programs. The hotel collects or scans the artwork and shares it with us. We reproduce the design on responsibly sourced wooden key cards and deliver them back to the property.

When the same guests return for a subsequent stay, hotel staff present these custom-made wooden key cards at check-in as part of a Guest Loyalty Program. The cards function as standard room keys throughout the stay. Upon checkout, they are automatically deactivated for security and transition into a souvenir key chain guests can take home.

This approach allows hotels to connect children’s programming, repeat visitation, and sustainability into a single, operationally simple touchpoint. The key card becomes both a functional tool and a long-term reminder of the guest experience, without changing existing access control systems.
