Throughout the year SynXis has launched many significant new products and services to drive more distribution for its customers. Highlights include:

  • The powerful 5.0 version of the RedX™ Distribution Management System which improved system usability based on direct customer feedback
  • New Revenue Management consulting programs
  • Channel ConnectSM which provides XML integration from RedX directly to third party travel sites and to hoteliers’ custom-built booking engines
  • A global voice solution including a new telephone reservation center near Dallas, Texas and foreign language coverage for calls in Europe and Asia
  • In addition, SynXis is currently celebrating the one year anniversary of their full-service call center based in Montevideo, Uruguay.

In 2006 SynXis has seen a greater than 60-percent increase over 2005 in bookings made on hotel booking engines that it has built for its customers. This increase mirrors the industry trend of more consumers booking directly on hotel websites. The SynXis booking engine enables hoteliers to customize the booking experience for their guests with such features as language translations, currency conversions, multiple room and rate pictures and a powerful dynamic packaging engine that generates incremental revenue for the hotel.
