New Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) Resources Fit Needs of 21st Century Hoteliers
The accompanying exam preparation booklet lets candidates assess their knowledge and experience by individual competency, and then directs them to the specific resource by volume, chapter, and subject for study and review, which is easier to do using the CD. The goal is to help CHA candidates better manage their time by focusing their study on the sections of the resource materials on which they need to spend the most time.The CHA enrollment fee of $650 ($450 for AH&LA members) includes the CHA Exam Preparation Booklet and CD.

Candidates who submit a CHA application by September 1, 2009, and meet the program prerequisites, can also purchase the new CHA Online Assessment Tool for only $25 (a $75 value). The Assessment Tool consists of six 30-question quizzes that correlate to the six sections of the CHA resource materials. After completing the quizzes, candidates receive an evaluation report indicating their score and skill level against the required benchmarks. The assessment includes a review of missed questions and also identifies where the correct information may be found in the CHA study guide for further review.
