IH&RA First Commemorative Stamp Issued In Kathmandu-Nepal | In Support of the Worldwide Hospitality Industry — Photo by IH&RA

IH&RA President, Dr. Ghassan AIDI, signed the first commemorative cover stamp in NEPAL in support of the Hospitality Industry Worldwide. This is the first time that a Country decides to honor a private Association by issuing a stamp for IH&RA's second congress held in Kathmandu, Nepal. The first congress was held in December 1984 and the second congress was held in November 2011.

At an official ceremony, IHRA's President was pleased to say "Thank you for Nepal and His Excellency the President for honoring all Worldwide Hoteliers representing the Private sector worldwide in issuing a commemorative stamp for their congress in Nepal.

The IHRA Stamp was issue with a value of 1.75 Rupees .

International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IH&RA)
