MCLEAN, Va. - Just in time for National Waffle Day on August 24, Hampton by Hilton introduced a new breakfast experience featuring fresh, healthful and delicious offerings for guests, newly renovated breakfast areas and enhanced service across its more than 2,250 hotels in the U.S. and Canada.

As the first hotel brand in its segment to popularize the fresh baked-by-guests Belgian waffle - the centerpiece of its free, hot breakfast - Hampton's classic Malted Vanilla waffle is now joined by four new mouthwatering flavors - including Blueberry, Chocolate, Banana Bread and Cinnamon Roll - available in regular and mini sizes on a rotating schedule. Hampton's new breakfast also includes innovative signature items, such as Chobani® Greek yogurt smoothies, pressed juices and egg white frittatas. Fresh takes on guest favorites - such as chicken-apple sausage links, fresh-baked Danishes and prime rib hash - round out the new menu alongside core classics like scrambled eggs, bacon, oatmeal with toppings and fresh-sliced fruit.

"Hampton by Hilton continues to exceed guest expectations by raising the bar with its new breakfast experience, offering innovative, high quality and tasty items that are a first to be offered in a complimentary breakfast in the upper-midscale segment," said Shruti Gandhi Buckley, global head, Hampton by Hilton. "We've developed new menu items and updated classics to satisfy our guests' ever-changing tastes, providing even better value with each Hampton stay. With the largest, most expansive breakfast upgrade in U.S. hotel industry history, Hampton continues to lead the category as a true pioneer and innovator."

Hampton by Hilton is introducing a fresh and modern approach to breakfast, inspired by culinary trends and guest feedback:

  • A recent consumer survey* conducted by Hilton unveiled 85 percent of Americans love a hot and savory breakfast, so Hampton by Hilton's classic offerings like scrambled eggs and bacon alongside new egg white frittatas, chicken-apple sausage links and prime rib hash will help keep America's favorites front and center.
  • The survey also found that nearly 80 percent of Americans crave a breakfast that satisfies their sweet tooth, which Hampton provides with its new fresh-baked Danish pastries and new flavored waffle options, now available in regular and mini sizes.
  • One-in-five Americans tends to eat breakfast on-the-go, which makes Hampton's ready-to-go Chobani® Greek yogurt smoothies, available in Tropical Mango and Wildberry-Pomegranate, a fresh and convenient option, along with pressed juices in three delicious flavors, including Banana-Strawberry, Sweet Greens and Peach-Mango. Both beverage options are the perfect companions for a busy morning paired with Hampton's On-the-RunTM bags, which include fruit, a breakfast bar and a bottle of water.

Hampton by Hilton's new breakfast experience also features newly renovated breakfast serving areas in properties across the U.S. and Canada, showcasing a contemporary look with the energetic feel of a modern marketplace. Updates include pops of color, chalk-art graphics and enhanced display ware with modern surfaces including wood tones and bronze finishes. In keeping with Hampton's award-winning customer service culture, the brand is elevating the service experience during the most important meal of the day with a Hamptonality breakfast host who will offer the brand's signature friendly, authentic and thoughtful service, which is backed by the 100% Hampton GuaranteeTM.
