Silicon Valley, CA - The Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI) honored Milestone Inc. with two Adrian Awards for its high-impact crisis communication, recovery strategy, and execution in the 64th annual Adrian Awards, the largest and most prestigious global travel marketing competition. For 2020, HSMAI redesigned the Adrian Awards to reflect the travel landscape, with Focus Categories of Corporate Social Responsibility, Crisis Communications/Management, Recovery Strategies, and Talent & Leadership Development in addition to traditional Adrian Award categories.

As governments began to announce lockdowns in March 2020, Milestone acted quickly to help the hospitality community respond to the crisis. We developed a crisis recovery growth integrated campaign, which included webinars, emails, and social media posts that focused on coronavirus-related content to offer support for the hospitality community. The goal was to help everyone from small, economy-sized hotels to independent or large-scale brands.

With our client, Marriott Digital Services, we deployed a scalable solution for thousands of Marriott hotels to provide custom information, called "What to Expect" to allay potential guest's concerns and help them move forward in their booking journey. We helped the client deploy a fast and cost-effective custom messages to to distribute Covid-19-related information on each location's website.

At the start of the pandemic, Craig began a LinkedIn campaign tagged #OptimisticHotelier to help spread uplifting and positive news to the hospitality industry each week. These weekly updates are sought out by industry colleagues and have thus far generated over 70,320 views, 876 likes, and 260 comments over 27 postings.

This award is Milestone's fourth win of the prestigious Top 25 Minds distinction.
