Grand Millennium Business Bay has announced the appointment of Anne Liyanage as its commercial director. Liyanage will lead the hotel's commercial team and strategies within.
Liyanage started her career in Colombo, working in the aviation industry, later moving to the UAE to pursue a career in hospitality, leading to more than 15 years of experience as a commercial hotelier.
Previous roles include director sales - MICE at IHG's Festival City properties; director of sales at Jumeirah Emirates Towers and associate director of business at Burj Al Arab. Other positions include complex director of sales for Marriott at Al Habtoor City and cluster director of sales for Meydan Hotels.
