This week's installment of our Member Spotlight series features Dr. Paul Willie, CHA, CHAE+, CHTP, CMA of St. Catharines, Ontario, who has been a member of HFTP for nearly 34 years.
How long have you worked in the hospitality industry?
I started working in the industry at the age of 15 as a banquet waiter. That first job inspired me to attend hotel school and further my education in all things hospitality. Since that first taste of the industry, I have worked in a variety of management positions in pretty much all departments of medium- and large-size hotels, have had the pleasure of managing small hotels and restaurants and also provide my expertise as an industry consultant.
