This week's installment of our Member Spotlight series features Arlene Ramirez, CHE, CHAE, CHIA, CAHTA of Spring, Texas who has been a member of HFTP since 1989.
How long have you worked in the hospitality industry?
Hospitality was not on my radar when I was looking for accounting career paths, but it found me and I am so happy it did! I started professionally with Marriott Hotels but have also shared my expertise as a member of the Houston Four Seasons in Houston and Benchmark Hospitality families. Outside of corporate hospitality, I have owned my hospitality consultancy firm for over a decade and work in higher education as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Houston's Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership. Finance, education and hospitality have been my passion.
