This week's Member Spotlight centers on Mark Gage of Avondale, Arizona.
Many associations hold annual events and conferences for their industry's benefit, but few can claim the prestige and continuous success of HITEC. That success is due in no small part to the event Advisory Council, a group of multidisciplinary industry experts dedicated to developing the year's educational curriculum. The impressive group building the foundation of HITEC Toronto 2023 includes this week's Member Spotlight recipient, Mark Gage of Avondale, Arizona, who has been a member since 1996.
How long have you worked in the hospitality industry?
I started in the hospitality industry in college as a bellman and worked my way up through the front office and night audit teams. After stints in banquets, food and beverage and housekeeping, I left for a while and worked in aviation but eventually found my way back this time into IT management.
