AMFORHT (World Association for Hospitality and Tourism Education and Training)

AMFORHT (World Association for Hospitality and Tourism Education and Training) is a global non governmental organization that works with governments, institutions and industry to advance sustainable tourism through education and skills development. Created in 1969 and today a UN Tourism affiliate with Special Consultative Status at the UN Economic and Social Council, AMFORHT connects hospitality and tourism schools, universities, training centres, experts and professionals in more than 80 countries. Through its worldwide network, the association supports the design and delivery of high quality education and training programmes, encourages innovation and ethical practices, and helps ensure that future generations of tourism and hospitality professionals are equipped to drive responsible growth and long term sustainability in the sector.
