Yi-Lin Tsai is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration in the Marketing area. He studies quantitative marketing and empirical industrial organization. His current research focuses on branding, advertising, consumer’s dynamic decision-making and competition in the hospitality industry.
Yi-Lin received a BBA and an MBA with concentration in operations management from National Taiwan University, an MA in statistics at Columbia University, and a PhD in marketing from the University of Chicago.
Prior to joining the University of Delaware, he worked at AIG Property & Casualty as a Senior Manager of Data Analytics. He led projects on building data-driven models to improve underwriting and pricing for commercial insurance products.
