Dr. Guchait, PhD. is a tenured Full Professor in the Conrad N. Hilton College of Global Hospitality Leadership at University of Houston. Dr. Guchait is the Program Director of DGHL (Doctorate in Global Hospitality Leadership), an executive online doctoral program. Dr. Guchait is the author of more than 75 peer-reviewed journal articles. He has authored numerous book chapters, conference proceedings and magazine articles. Dr. Guchait has been recognized as the top 2% scientists worldwide in the discipline of sport, leisure and tourism for distinguished research according to a recent study by Stanford University. Dr. Guchait is also ranked #4 worldwide in frontline employee research. His research focuses on organizational behavior, human resources, leadership, and service management. He is an international scholar, author, and speaker. Dr Guchait engages with the hospitality industry through his workshops, conference presentations, and keynotes. He teaches HR and Leadership at the BS and MS levels and Data Analysis at the Ph.D. level. Dr Guchait serves on the Editorial Board of several top international scholarly journals, and reviews for several top hospitality journals. He has won several awards for excellence in research, service, collegiality, and contribution to the field of hospitality and tourism.
