Clayton believes great design is a product of collaboration. As one of The Beck Group’s design leaders, Clayton works with the firm’s project teams, guiding the exploration of ideas and finding elegant solutions to project challenges.

He’s quick to mention that the best projects come when “where all participants – client, design team, and builder – feel invested in the final result.” Generous with his time, Clayton serves on the board of AIA Atlanta and has served as a juror for the AIA Atlanta High School Design Competition, a program geared toward engaging students in design.

A talented musician in his own right, he spends many an evening in clubs with his wife, a well-known Atlanta jazz vocalist.
