Robert Vance is the Founder & Principal of HUMNEX, a systems-based advisory practice built on the premise that guest experience is primarily a design outcome, not a service one.

With 23 years in luxury resort leadership and 25 years in the spa and wellness industry, he brings a depth of experience that spans planning, pre-opening, renovation, and full-cycle facility management. He has worked with and for some of the field's most respected brands, including Golden Door, Mii amo, Four Seasons, Accor, and Sensei.

HUMNEX works with hospitality and wellness operators on the structural conditions that shape how guests experience an organization. The approach is diagnostic before it is prescriptive: find where the architecture is producing the wrong outcome, then build toward a better one.

Robert holds a B.A. from Pepperdine University, with certifications in retail management, risk management, and wellness coaching. He has served on the Board of Directors for the International Spa Association (ISPA) and in executive roles within regional and national industry organizations.
