Dr Kyriaki Glyptou is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Events, Tourism and Hospitality Management at Leeds Beckett University, United Kingdom. She holds the qualification of Environmental Engineer from Wageningen University in the Netherlands and a PhD in tourism destination management and regional development from the Business School of the University of the Aegean in Greece.

Kyriaki has gained international exposure in sustainable business and destination development projects (UNWTO, UNEP-MAP, EU, SEE, national), as well as through her research, consulting and teaching experience in Italy, Greece, Germany, the Netherlands and currently UK.

Her research focuses on strategic tourism and hospitality management and branding in light of sustainability, resilience and uncertainty.
