Trinh Diem Vy, aka "Ms Vy," is the founder and owner of Taste Vietnam Group, a collection of fourteen restaurants and one hotel in Hoi An, Vietnam, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ms Vy opened her first restaurant thirty years ago during the trade embargo and was one of the first Vietnamese restaurateurs to serve foreigners after the war.

Five years ago, she hosted the first spouses of world leaders gathered for the APEC Summit in Da Nang. She is the author of The Morning Glory Cookbook, a judge on Top Chef Vietnam and an advocate for zero-waste restaurants.
