Joerg leads the Media & Distribution team of Amadeus’ Hospitality division since May 2020. He is accountable for overseeing the global business development and demand for Amadeus’ media solutions, global distribution system, meetings and events software, and mobility offering.

Before joining Hospitality Joerg was leading the Customer Service division for Travel Channels, leading a team of over 1,000 professionals, with the objective of better serving our customers through digitalization and becoming a leader in the industry. Joerg joined Amadeus in 1997 as Manager, Revenue Management in the Marketing Finance Department in Madrid.

He was responsible for the financial analysis of the business lines, business controlling, and invoicing. In 2001, he moved to Nice and became Regional Manager for Western Europe, in charge of the overall marketing and product strategy in that area.

Prior to Amadeus, Joerg worked in London and Madrid in the area of financial analysis, auditing, and consulting for companies such as Allianz and BDO Binder.
