Swantje Lehners has been Managing Director of Projects and Cooperations at Futouris e.V. (the sustainability initiative of the German tourism industry) since 2015. In this role, she is responsible for the development and implementation of sustainability projects in cooperation with the Futouris member companies.

Before joining Futouris e.V., Swantje has worked in the hotel industry and as sustainability manager for a major European tour operator. In October 2022, Swantje was appointed to the honorary position of Chairwoman for the newly found partnership KlimaLink.

Swantje holds bachelors degrees in International Tourism Management from Germany and the UK as well as an MBA in Sustainability Management from Leuphana University.
