Even though his career in hospitality started a far cry from the world of technology – he was a dishwasher in high school – Matt has a strong talent for leveraging technology to transform companies and enable compelling business outcomes.

As the Chief Technology Officer, Sage Hospitality Group, he’s responsible for all aspects of IT including applications, infrastructure, business intelligence, project management and cyber security.

Matt focuses on thwarting cyber-attacks, enhancing our CRM database, and investigating ways to leverage Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Machine Learning, Generative AI, robotics, facial recognition, voice assistants) to improve associate productivity and the guest experience.

He also serves on the Audit and Risk Management Committee of our Board of Directors. Matt lives at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in Boulder, Colorado, with his family.
