Malu Boerwinkel

Malu Boerwinkel is a lecturer-researcher at Hotel Management School Maastricht, Zuyd University of Applied Sciences (HMSM), specialized in international business, hospitality and sustainability.

Malu holds the position of the program manager for the Sustainable Transition Initiative at the Hotel Management School Maastricht, an initiative designed to position HMSM as a leading pioneer in sustainability within hotel management education, employing the Whole School Approach.

Beyond her role in advancing sustainability at the Hotel Management School Maastricht, Malu is actively engaged in sustainability-focused research for the Future of Food Research Center, led by Dai-In Danny Han.

Malu is panel expert of the Sustainability in Hospitality panel.
