Andrea Spalletti Trivelli, born in Rome in 1985, began his education in an English school, where he had the opportunity to learn in an international environment alongside students from around the world. He studied in Milan for two years at university, and at the age of 20, he decided to contribute to the family business by working at the family-owned hotel.

He gained valuable experience in all aspects of hotel operations, from housekeeping to both front and back office functions. Once he had a solid understanding of the hotel's workings, he took over sales activities and co-managed the property alongside the General Manager.

After six years working on-site, in 2012, Andrea left the family business to broaden his horizons and gain international experience. He took on the role of Sales Manager for the Asia-Pacific region at Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH).

In this role, he learned how to navigate cultural differences in Asia, expanded his network in the travel trade sector, and developed expertise in organizing events and addressing the needs of member hotels. In March 2015, Andrea returned to Villa Spalletti Trivelli, enriched by the experience gained during his time at SLH in Asia.

Since then, he has managed the family property while also serving on the International Board of SLH. In 2023, he was appointed Brand Ambassador for Italy, Malta, and Switzerland for SLH.

In addition to his work in the hotel industry, Andrea oversees the sales and marketing activities of the family’s organic winery in Umbria, Pomario.
