Mathew Prior

Mathew Prior is CEO of TrustedHousesitters, the global pet-care travel marketplace connecting pet owners and sitters in more than 140 countries, where he leads a fast-growing, purpose-driven B Corp whose vision is to be the world’s most loved travel solution for pet people. Since joining in 2019, he has led the company through COVID, rapid category growth and international expansion, scaling membership roughly fourfold and revenues sixfold while keeping trust and member experience at the centre of the model.

Before TrustedHousesitters, Mathew spent over two decades building and leading experiential travel brands at First Choice, TUI and Travelopia – including Crystal Ski, Sunsail, The Moorings and Le Boat – and co-led the carve-out of Travelopia from TUI backed by KKR. A former ski rep turned CEO, he brings deep expertise in travel, digital marketplaces and scaling tech-enabled, mission-led businesses, and is known for a leadership style grounded in trust, resilience and empowered, autonomous teams. He also serves as a non-executive director at Maison Sport, supporting growth and innovation in the digital ski sector.
