Steve Karwoski currently serves as the Area Director of Property Operations for Hilton Worldwide, where he oversees engineering performance, capital planning, and operational excellence across multiple full service properties.

With more than 30 years of experience in property operations and engineering, he specializes in preventative maintenance, developing operating procedures, and ensuring facilities operate efficiently and safely. Mr. Karwoski has led capital improvement projects up to 5 million dollars and played a key role in a 20 million dollar full property renovation.

Throughout his career, he has worked with companies such as Hilton Anaheim, the Beverly Hilton, O Hare properties, and InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile. Based in Anaheim, he has built high performing engineering teams and improved asset performance through strong cost control, training, and vendor management.

He is known for his ability to optimize MEP systems, improve building automation, and manage large scale budgets while maintaining guest experience and operational reliability. Mr. Karwoski is passionate about sustainability and energy efficiency, having successfully guided several properties to achieve Green Seal certification and earn Energy Star recognition.

With a degree in Construction Management from Southern Illinois University, he blends technical knowledge with a leadership style that is focused on accountability, clarity, and measurable results.
