Lawrence Edwards is the Director of IT Project & Portfolio Management at Belmond, specialising in hospitality business systems strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise programme delivery. With more than 25 years of global experience, he has led large‑scale technology initiatives across hotel operations, revenue management, F&B, payments, CRM, and workforce systems, supporting some of the world’s most iconic luxury properties. His career spans work in over 50 countries for leading hospitality brands, where he has implemented high‑impact solutions that enhance profitability, streamline operations, and elevate guest experience. 

A passionate advocate for data‑driven decision‑making and intelligent automation, Lawrence Edwards has overseen major programmes including SevenRooms, Kitchen CUT, POS, Adyen, and training and capability platforms across Belmond’s portfolio. Known for blending strategic direction with deep technical and operational insight, he focuses on enabling hotel teams to deliver exceptional service while modernising the underlying technology landscape. 

Based in Belgium, he balances his professional pursuits with recreating Michelin‑star cuisine for his children and an enthusiasm for playing with chainsaws.
