With a solid educational foundation in Business Management and Hospitality Management acquired from Lebanese American University, Mr. Wael Al Sharif embarked on a journey within the hospitality industry, marked by a commitment to excellence and continuous learning.

Beginning his career as a management trainee, Mr. Wael Al Sharif cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the industry, gradually transitioning into catering sales. Later he ventured into food and beverage operations and over the years, he climbed through the ranks, culminating in his tenure as Director of Food and Beverage.

Joining Torch Hospitality, Mr. Wael Al Sharif embarked on a transformative phase, spearheading leading roles within the organization's strategic endeavours. He played a pivotal role as the Director of Food and Beverage during the pre-opening phase of The Torch Hotel, showcasing his leadership and operational expertise. Subsequently, he assumed the role of Hospitality Manager for the pre-opening of Naufar, a distinguished 5-star wellness hospital, concurrently serving as Hotel Manager for The Torch Hotel. His stellar performance and extensive expertise in the food and beverage sector led to his appointment as General Manager and Cluster Director of Food & Beverage for The Torch Hospitality under the Aspire Zone Foundation.

In 2021, Mr. Wael Al Sharif assumed a new challenge as Area General Manager, overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties, including The Torch Doha and Al Aziziyah Boutique Hotel. Additionally, he managed an extensive portfolio of 13 projects during World Cup Qatar 2022 strategically positioning The Torch Hospitality as a leading hospitality service provider in the market. His responsibilities expanded further to include Mina Hotel and Residences and 21 High Street Residence.
