Mohamad Haj Hassan is the Market Managing Director for the Middle East and Africa at Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest hotel franchising company. In this role, he oversees regional strategy across MEA, supporting Wyndham’s expanding owner base and driving continued momentum across development, operations, and market performance.

Since joining Wyndham in 2023, he has played an active role in supporting this expansion, working closely with owners, partners, and internal teams to advance commercial initiatives, strengthen portfolio performance, and enhance operational alignment across priority markets.

Prior to his regional appointment, Mohamad served as Country Director, Saudi Arabia, where he supported Wyndham’s growth in one of the region’s most dynamic hospitality markets. In that role, he worked across development, owner engagement, and operational execution, contributing to the evolution of Wyndham’s portfolio and partner ecosystem in the Kingdom.

Mohamad brings more than 25 years of hospitality leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa. Before joining Wyndham, he held senior roles with leading international hotel groups, including Cluster General Manager positions with Accor and Area Vice President roles with Rotana Hotels. Across his career, he has overseen the launch of more than 20 hotels, working across diverse markets, asset types, and operating environments.
