Billy Turnbull is an Australian student at EHL Hospitality Business School, currently completing his Bachelor of Science in International Hospitality Management. Born and raised in Singapore, he brings a distinctly multicultural perspective to the evolving world of hospitality.

Billy is deeply passionate about creating experiences that make guests feel genuinely seen, cared for, and valued. Prior to hospitality, he pursued a career as a professional rugby athlete, an experience that shaped his belief in teamwork, discipline, and the importance of showing up fully for others.

As moderator of the Main Stage panel “Leading with connection & care: Hospitality competencies for a new era”, Billy represents the next generation of hospitality leaders, bringing a fresh and thoughtful perspective on the role of human connection in an increasingly technology-driven world.

He believes that, as the industry evolves, genuine human connection will continue to define the very essence of hospitality.
