After graduating from The New School University, Jersey continued her career as a Professional dancer and creative artist, eventually weaving in modeling, nightlife hospitality, and Real estate, before accidentally becoming a hotelier. She spent years operating at the intersection of art, influence, lifestyle, design, and experiential brand building. In 2014, she co-founded Urban Cowboy in Brooklyn, where she integrated her distinct style of hospitality experience and identity, unapologetically grounded in her belief that it is not a service industry; it’s a creative one. Since then, the brand has expanded to Nashville, New York, and Denver, encompassing both hotel and bar concepts. Urban Cowboy Hotels has been named by Forbes as “…the coolest hotel brand in the world” and featured for its unique hospitality and design leadership in Architectural Digest, Conde Nast, Travel and Leisure, and many more. As a female minority founder, she has contributed to Forbes on the need for diversity in Hospitality. Today, she is focused on building cultural relevance within the brand, collaborating on new concepts, speaking, and partnering with creatives and investors who want to build something that lasts.
