Lisa Collins-Haynes, a seventh-generation Texan and Afro-Panamanian, is an international travel writer, photographer, entrepreneur, and doctoral scholar whose work explores hospitality, tourism, culture, and human experience. Her work documents destinations through cultural journalism, hotel reviews, restaurant critiques, and experiential travel writing, with a focus on authentic, people-centered travel experiences and the evolving relationship between tourism and community. Ms. Collins-Haynes has worked with tourism boards and DMO's to help showcase destinations through authentic, people-centered travel coverage. She has also collaborated with travel brands including Norwegian Cruise Line, Tripology and commercial brands Herbal Essence and Old Navy. And her writing has appeared in several publications, including BBC Travel.
