Héctor De Castro is the founder of Regenera Luxury, the world's first regenerative luxury certification for boutique hotels and retreats, presented by UN Tourism. Over 25 years across Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the Caribbean, he has built, advised and audited high-end hotels — including senior roles within the €40bn Grupo ACS and work with brands such as Six Senses, Alila and Banyan Tree. Since founding Regenera Luxury in 2022, he has grown the company to 20+ team members, advised 100+ properties across 30+ countries, and built an audit model spanning nine sections and nearly 500 KPIs. He is GSTC-certified and a dual doctoral candidate researching regenerative hotels and neuromarketing. His work has appeared in Forbes USA, Hotels Magazine and Food & Travel.
