Through EHL and my experiences beyond the classroom, I’ve explored different sides of the hospitality industry - from gaining first-hand experience in luxury hospitality with pre-opening of Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab and developing a stronger understanding of hotel performance through the Certification in Hotel Industry Analytics (CHIA), to representing EHL as a Student Ambassador. I’ve also had the opportunity to lead and contribute to projects such as TEDxYouth@AvenorCollege, involving 300+ attendees, 10 speakers and $15,000 in sponsorships, as well as developing and pitching concepts at University of Cambridge and achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Gold Award from HRH Earl of Wessex. Each experience has taught me something different about how ideas, people and businesses come together to create meaningful experiences.
