Claudia Ferrero

Claudia Ferrero is today a Recruiter with over twenty years of experience in hospitality and a strong passion for digital transformation, developed within leading international hotel groups.

Her career began in Turin, at the G.B. Colombatto hospitality institute, and continued in Switzerland at the renowned Glion Institute of Higher Education campus, which allowed her to immediately embark on an international career and take on various managerial roles.

She went on to consolidate her management expertise in prestigious locations such as London, Florida, New York, and Monte Carlo. After returning to Italy, she focused on the entrepreneurial and commercial development of a hotel cluster, hotel management, and eventually the management of the hospitality department within luxury retail.

In 2020, she stepped away from day-to-day operations to focus on consulting and on projects related to the digitalization of service processes for hotels and restaurants — an area where Italian SMEs still struggle to seize the real opportunities available.

In this context, at the end of 2022, together with Viviana Greco — an HR Director with long and prestigious experience in Human Resources — she founded Horeca Job, a female-led Benefit Corporation startup dedicated to recruiting and to developing innovative solutions that connect labor supply and demand.

Nowadays she supports companies in personnel selection and in defining Talent Acquisition strategies, aiming to improve their attractiveness and to help shape a corporate culture centered on employee wellbeing.

Since returning to Italy, she has never stopped sharing her passion for hospitality with younger generations, taking part in PCTO (school-to-work) activities in vocational schools and teaching for HIA Florence, IATH Cernobbio, and ITS Academy Veneto, Rimini, and Turin.

She is co-author of the book Work in Travel, curates editorial content for trade publications in the sector, is the creator of the podcast "Appunti di Recruiting," and is a speaker and moderator at events for the Horeca industry.
