Hyatt Hotels post higher 3Q profit | businessweek.com
Hyatt Hotels Corp. said Wednesday its profit climbed in the third quarter as it recorded gains from the elimination of debt and other special items and saw revenue surge amid rising demand for its rooms. The company reported net income of $30 million, or 17 cents a share, for the three months ended Sept. 30. That compares with net income of $5 million, or 3 cents a share, in the same period last year.
