Covid-19: OYO Sets Up Fund To Assist South-East Asian Partners

OYO Hotels and Homes has committed US$200,000 to support its partners and their families in South-east Asia affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

OYO Hotels and Homes has committed US$200,000 to support its partners and their families in South-east Asia affected by the coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak.

Its chief executive officer for South-east Asia, Japan and the Middle East Dr Mandar Vaidya said this followed a similar move in China where OYO set up a dedicated fund of 1 million Chinese renminbi for the same purpose.

"The hospitality industry has been impacted and we are also concerned with the impact Covid-19 has on our partners as they come to grips with the current situation," he said in a statement.
