Setting Up Your Organization Profile

Before you start publishing content, take a few minutes to set up your organization profile. This is where you manage your company's branding, contact details, and public information. Everything you add here automatically appears across all your content on Hospitality Net.

Your Organization Profile

Find your organization profile in the left sidebar under Organization > Company Profile. This is your company's home on Hospitality Net, where readers can learn about your organization and view all the content you've published.

Your profile page includes your logo, about text, social media links, contact information, and a timeline of your content.

Organization Name and Short Name

Organization Name is your company's full official name. This appears on your organization page and in formal contexts.

Short Name is optional but useful if your official name is long. For example, "Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals" uses the short name "HFTP."

When you provide a short name, we'll use it in content footers and other compact spaces where the full name might not fit comfortably.

Writing Your About Text

The about text is a brief description of your organization, with a maximum of 250 words. It appears on your organization page and in content footers.

Many organizations have an official boilerplate description, but we recommend writing an engaging description rather than using corporate boilerplate. Think of it as introducing your company to someone at an industry event. What do you actually do? What makes you different?

Focus on being clear and interesting rather than formal and comprehensive.

Contact Information

Add your contact email address, phone number, and physical address. This information appears on your organization page and helps readers get in touch with you directly.

All fields are optional, so you can choose what contact information to make public.

Changes Apply Everywhere Automatically

Once you update your logo, name, about text, or any other organization details, the changes apply automatically across all your content on Hospitality Net.

You don't need to update individual articles or press releases. Everything stays current with your latest branding and information.
