Understanding Content Credits

To post content on Hospitality Net, your organization needs an active membership. Each membership includes content credits that determine how many articles you can publish during your membership period.

What Are Content Credits?

Content credits are your publishing allowance. Each time you publish a news article of any type, it uses one credit. Your membership determines how many credits you have available.

Credits are valid for the duration of your membership (12 months). Any unused credits automatically expire at the end of your membership period.

Membership Credit Levels

Hospitality Net memberships include different credit allowances:

  • 1 credit
  • 5 credits
  • 10 credits
  • 20 credits
  • Unlimited credits

Your credit level depends on your membership plan.

Credits and Membership Renewal

When you renew your membership, any remaining credits (except for unlimited credit memberships) automatically carry over to your new membership period.

This means you won't lose credits if you renew before they expire.

Purchasing Additional Credits

If you run out of credits during your membership, you can purchase additional credits at any time without upgrading your entire membership.

This gives you flexibility to publish more content when you need it.

How Credits Are Used

Publishing any type of news article uses one credit. This includes press releases, news articles, opinion pieces, explainers, and podcasts.

Important: If you delete a published article, the credit is not refunded. Each publication uses a credit, regardless of whether you keep it published.

Checking Your Credit Balance

You can always see how many credits remain for your account in two places:

  1. Top navigation bar - Your credit count appears in the header
  2. Dashboard homepage - Your available credits are displayed prominently

This helps you track your publishing capacity at a glance.
