Rich Jackson currently serves as the Vice President of Technology / Chief Information Officer (CIO) for the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) where he is responsible for oversight and direction of AH&LA's technology, publishing and membership records departments. Rich has been with the AH&LA since 1994.
Prior to joining AH&LA, Rich oversaw the technology department for a medium sized city in Virginia, where he was responsible for all of the city's technology functions including City Hall, Police 911, and others.
He holds a BS degree in Information Systems, a Master of Science in Information Systems Technology and many technical certifications including; Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Certified NetWare Engineer (CNE).
He is an active member in many computing professional organizations including the Network Professionals Association (NPA), and Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc. (IEEE).
Rich and his wife Maureen have 3 boys and reside in Virginia.
