BENCHMARK®, a global hospitality company, has appointed Diane Heppel director of human resources for Delta Hotels - Marriott Dallas Allen & Watters Creek Convention Center, a Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property currently under construction in Allen, Texas, north of Dallas. The full-service hotel and convention center is scheduled to open in January of 2019. Stacy T. Martin, general manager, announced the appointment.

Mohammad Sbeitani è stato nominato Director of Human Resources presso Ajman Hotel

A Canadian/Jordanian national, his hospitality career now spans more than 25 years; his last position was Human Resources Director with Hilton Hotels and Resorts, Dead Sea, Jordan.Prior to his last assignment, he worked with brands such as Kempinski, Movenpick, Taj Palace, and Radisson. He holds post graduate certificate in Human Resources Management in addition to his Master's Degree in Political Science.In this role, Sbeitani will partner with other department heads and he will lead and develop the HR strategy, programmes and oversee all aspects of hotel's human resources operations for almost 260 employees for Ajman Hotel.

The Benchmark Resorts & Hotels property is expected to open in August. Greg Stafford, general manager, made the announcement.

Lynval Miller è stato nominato Director of Human Resources presso The Heldrich

Lynval Miller brings 22 years of professional experience to his new position at The Heldrich. He was previously director of human resources for the Westminster Hotel of Livingston, New Jersey, while simultaneously serving as regional director of human resources for properties in New York City and Atlanta.During Super Storm Sandy, one of the worst natural disasters in New Jersey's history, Mr. Miller held the position of disaster case management coordinator for the State. In this role he was responsible as a contractor with FEMA to make sure the State's Disaster Relief Centers were adequately staffed with disaster case managers. He has also served as director of human resources for the Grand Summit Hotel located in Summit, New Jersey.Mr. Miller is a graduate of Seton Hall University where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Management. He has previously served as a New Jersey State Certified Firefighter. Lynval Miller resides in Mount Olive with his family.

Hilton has named Jon Muñoz as VP of global diversity and inclusion. In his new role, Muñoz will oversee Hilton's global diversity management practice, focusing on developing culture, talent and marketplace strategies that cultivate inclusion. Muñoz joined Hilton in 2011 as senior director of diversity and inclusion. Prior to joining Hilton, Muñoz served in diversity roles for Sprint and multicultural marketing roles for Nextel Communications, Bank One (JPMorgan Chase), and NationsBank (Bank of America).

ONYX Hospitality Group has appointed Gen McKenzie as its new Executive Vice President of Human Resources. With over two decades of experience in HR strategy and talent management both in hospitality as well as marketing and advertising, Gen joins ONYX from integrated marketing and communications agency MullenLowe Group, where she led the global firm's regional HR agenda as Regional Head of Talent Management, based in Singapore. Starting her career in hospitality, Gen's first role was at Four Seasons Resort Bali at Jimbaran Bay, before being subsequently appointed to a cluster role as Director of Human Resources for Four Seasons Resorts in Bali. She was then appointed to the Four Seasons' Southeast Asia regional office as Area Director of Human Resources and Training. Following 12 years with Four Seasons, Gen went on to serve in a variety of senior HR leadership roles at Mandara Spa, Alila Hotels & Resorts and SilverNeedle Hospitality Group.

Prior to joining Sheraton, Bernard held several senior positions over his 25-year hospitality journey including Renaissance Harbour View Hotel, Mandarin Oriental, The American Club, and the recent role as Group Director of Human Resources at Marco Polo Hotels and Plaza Premiu m Group.

Maietta, who has served as interim President of the Foundation since May of last year, currently serves as senior vice president of communications and marketing. As AHLEF President, Rosanna will lead the Foundation and its team to advance its mission of ensuring a strong and viable future for the entire lodging industry by fueling the talent pipeline. She will be responsible for raising the Foundation's profile and overseeing its scholarship, research, and career development programs. She will also oversee the administration of AHLA's intermediary contract with the U.S. Department of Labor to expand apprenticeship programs.

Prior to Asure Consulting, she served as a human resource consultant for the Cobos Group and human resources director for Pura Vida Coffee.
