MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. -- Radisson Hotels Worldwide today announced the opening of 11 new hotels during the second quarter of 1999, bringing the total number of Radisson hotels to 400 locations representing 93,000 hotels in 50 countries.
"We're building a great hotel brand for consumers, investors and employees," said Brian Stage, president of Radisson Hotels Worldwide. "It is important to keep expanding into new markets and to increase the number of Radisson locations in destinations where we have strong demand."
"Our development pace is sizzling," continued Peter Blyth, president of development for Radisson Hotels Worldwide. "We are forecasting 50 hotels will be added to our system in North America in 1999 with an additional 22 hotels in other parts of the world.
