The Network Connection Rolls Out InnView Version 1.5; New InnView Software Increases Revenue Opportunities
PHILADELPHIA -- The Network Connection(TM), Inc.
The latest version of InnView(TM) expects to expand revenue opportunities for both TNCX and its clients; incorporate additional property and area information most requested by partners and guests; implement an easy-to-use interface branded for each property; and continue to provide the highest quality in-room entertainment.
"Due to the nature of our technology and the ability to upgrade for the future, we have already seen above industry average occupied room revenue for most of our properties," said Bob Pringle, President of The Network Connection. "Not only does this reinforce our business model, it allows us to consistently compliment the growing demands of what we believe to be an expanding marketplace."
By incorporating new local region and property information and creating an engaging, easy-to-use interface, the modularized system allows TNCX to best fit features and functions to the needs of each property. The system's rich multi-media content specifically includes new free to guest and property specific content such as multi-day local weather forecasts, constantly updated news headlines, a scrolling stock ticker, desk to guest messaging, enhanced folio review and express checkout.
Revenue opportunities for both TNCX and its clients have been expanded through both new multi-media advertising platforms and a variety of newly released Hollywood films. The system also has the ability to support audio content, interactive games and Internet content on TV.
With new upgrades and installations currently scheduled, the Company expects to have version 1.5 live in over 850 hotel rooms by the end of January 2001 and approximately 2,600 live rooms by end of Q1.
