Dan Kelly Joins Corporate Office As New VP Of Operations
Redwood City, Calif. -- Woodside Hotels & Resorts, Northern California's premier hotel group is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Kelly to the new position of Vice President of Operations. Mr. Kelly, who resigned his 14-year post as the Vice President and General Manager of the Lafayette Park Hotel to accept his new position, will be based in the company's corporate office.
Since joining Woodside Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Kelly has overseen a number of major changes at the Lafayette Park Hotel, including the creation and opening of the Bistro at the Park restaurant, which has been heralded by the San Francisco Chronicle and Diablo Magazine for its simplified elegance and cheerful atmosphere. He has also assisted on numerous special projects including the opening of the Duck Club restaurant at the Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa, and acted as interim General Manager during the purchase of the Monterey Plaza Hotel. Mr. Kelly also positioned the hotel to earn the Mobil 4 Star Award and the Five Star Diamond Award, the only East Bay hotel to lay claim to both accolades.
For his sense of commitment and dedication, Mr. Kelly will also be recognized by State Assemblywoman Lynn Leach with a proclamation to be awarded later this month.
Woodside Hotels & Resorts is made up of six hotels that include the Bodega Bay Lodge & Spa, the Half Moon Bay Lodge, the Lafayette Park Hotel, the Monterey Plaza Hotel & Spa, the Napa Valley Lodge and the Stanford Park Hotel.
