Fujitsu Partners With Nomadix To Deliver High-Speed Communication Solutions To Multi-Tenant Locations
Fujitsu Business Communication Systems to resell Nomadix Universal Subscriber GatewayTM in conjunction with FI-LAN product offering.
Westlake Village, CA June 26, 2001 - Nomadix, the leading Internet infrastructure supplier of ubiquitous high-speed Internet access solutions, and Fujitsu Business Communication Systems, Inc. announced today that Fujitsu has selected the Nomadix Universal Subscriber GatewayTM (USGTM) to provide high-speed Internet connectivity as an integral part of its FI-LAN product offering.
The Universal Subscriber Gateway, coupled with Fujitsu's DSLAM and Web Hosting/Housing solutions, allows Fujitsu to market FI-LAN as a complete, turnkey high-speed data communication solution. Fujitsu will offer its FI-LAN solution to multi-tenant locations—such as hospitality, commercial, and educational facilities—who want to increase revenue streams by offering high-speed data voice and data communications.
The Nomadix USG platform is a stand-alone, dedicated networking device. The USG is deployed at the network edge to handle subscriber connectivity, authentication, bandwidth shaping, and service placement for a broadband-enabled environment. The USG delivers broadband Internet connectivity that requires no configuration changes or client-side software, eliminating costly on-site customer setup and maintenance.
