eTravnet.com Forms Strategic Alliance To Implement Its REZconnect Reservation Technology With Abotel And Hostotel Hotels

Armand Benichou, President of Abotel Small Hotels of France and Vice President of Maison de la France, member of the Board of the French Tourist Office in Paris, described REZconnect as, "Impressive."

REZconnect's net-to-phone-to-net process delivers web-generated reservations to the hotel's telephone. The reservations agent follows voice prompt to press telephone key-pad numbers to accept the reservation. A demonstration of the process can be found at www.rezconnect.com.

eTravnet signed strategic partnerships with Zagat.com to provide online surveyed restaurants with interactive reservations, with Kmart to place Travel Network inside Super Kmart and with Worldspan, the global distribution system owned by Delta, Northwest, and TWA, to provide web-based reservations capability for niche market cruise lines, hotels, and tour operators to over 21,000 travel agencies in Worldspan's network.
