NXTV Inc. Announces Launch of Digital Broadband Entertainment and Internet Services at the Peninsula Beverly Hills

LOS ANGELES / June 26, 2001--NXTV Inc., a provider of digital broadband television services to the hospitality market, today announced that it has successfully completed installation of its Broadband Delivery System technology at one of the world's leading hotels, The Peninsula Beverly Hills.

Part of the Hong Kong & Shanghai Hotel Group, the Peninsula is the only Mobil 5 Star and AAA 5 Diamond hotel in Southern California.

Hotel guests at The Peninsula Beverly Hills are able to choose from a wide variety of interactive broadband services including digital video-on-demand movies. NXTV also provides enhanced TV features such as pause, reverse, fast-forward and bookmark which allow guests to stop and restart a movie over a 24-hour period.

NXTV also features digital on-demand movie previews, high-speed TV and laptop Internet access and digital satellite TV programming.

The company is also currently in negotiations with several large East Coast hotel groups.

NXTV has digital movie license agreements in place from some of Hollywood's top studios including Fox, Warner Bros., DreamWorks and Disney. NXTV also delivers high-speed Internet to hotels via one of its strategic investors, Global Crossing GX, and provides digital satellite TV programming under a content agreement with DIRECTV.
