AH&LA To Present Prestigious Awards To Industry Luminaries At Annual Conference
Las Vegas, Nev. - The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) presented several industry-related awards at a special reception during the Las Vegas International Hotel & Restaurant Show, June 18-19, held at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The annual awards are the Cutting-Edge Awards, the Teammate Awards, the Hospitality Heritage Award, and the Most Valuable Volunteer Awards.
The Cutting-Edge Awards are presented to hotel companies with outstanding records of support of AH&LA and its affiliates through conferences, trade shows, and membership and recruitment programs. The Cutting-Edge Award recipients are Hilton Hotels Corporation, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, and the Sherry Netherlands Hotel (New York, N.Y.).
The Teammate Awards are given to the association's allied members that have made noteworthy contributions to the lodging industry and AH&LA. The Teammate Award honorees are Anheuser-Busch, Inc.; AOL-Time Warner/Turner Network, Inc.; and Courtesy Products.
In addition, the Most Valuable Volunteer Awards will be given to recipients who have contributed effortlessly in their individual member state association hospitality programs and initiatives. These awards will be distributed at a special reception during the conference.

In its 24th year, LVIHRS is produced in partnership between AH&LA, the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association, the Nevada Restaurant Association, the Hotel Association of New York City, and the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association. Managed by George Little Management, LLC (GLM), the event's trade show features more than 450 international and domestic exhibiting companies and welcomes more than 4,000 attendees.
