Celebrity Chef Ken Hom Visits The Emirates Academy Of Hospitality Management And Meets Up With The Students
Dubai: World-renowned Chef Ken Hom, who is currently in Dubai for a food promotion at Burj Al Arab, visited The Emirates Academy of Hospitality Management recently and met up with the students. This is the second time Ken Hom honours The Emirates Academy with a visit after his last trip to Dubai in November 2001.
Ken Hom donated a significant portion of his private library to The Emirates Academy library during his first visit to the school in November 2001 and has now announced that he will present the library with even more of his work later this year. The faculty, staff and students welcomed the generous donation from Ken Hom with great appreciation as his books have been a great inspiration and have been used extensively as research and reference material by the students in the Bachelor of Science degree in International Hospitality Management.
Jumeirah International has expanded outside the Middle East into London, taking over the management of The Carlton Tower and The Lowndes Hotel in London's Belgravia last December. Following on from Jumeirah International's move into the UK, The Carlton Tower was immediately included in the prestigious 'Leading Hotels of the World' handbook following Burj Al Arab, Emirates Towers Hotel and The Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Jumeirah International has officially opened its central reservations office in Dubai, which handles reservations for all Jumeirah International hotels in Dubai and London.
