Call for Papers | 2006 IH&RA Human Resources Development Forum

The International Hotel & Restaurant Association (IH&RA) is pleased to announce the 2006 IH&RA Human Resources Development Forum with the theme: Education and Industry Partnerships in the Hospitality Industry. The Forum will take place on 27 October 2006 in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in conjunction with the 43rd IH&RA Congress 26-29 October 2006.

Educators and industry practitioners are invited to submit proposals for presentation. All presenters are required to register for the Forum with full payment of Forum fees. In selecting the proposed topics for inclusion in the final program, preference will be given to proposals (see attached document).

The chronic shortage of hospitality skills worldwide will be reaching intolerable heights in the next five years and beyond. The International Hotel & Restaurant Association is acting on several fronts and this will be the first of several opportunities where hospitality educators and human resource specialists will meet to frame the future.
