CARROLLTON, Texas -- Accor North America, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, is pleased to announce the hiring of Sue MacGregor as the vice president of Risk Management. MacGregor’s responsibilities at Accor will include renewals for commercial lines of insurance, implementing financial models to improve predictability of reserves and developing an employee safety program to reduce overall workers’ compensation claim frequency and costs.

MacGregor comes to Accor North America with over 15 years of risk experience. Prior to Accor, she was director of risk management for Brinker International, a publicly traded company with a portfolio of restaurant brands with 1400 locations in 23 countries, including brands such as: Chili’s Grill & Bar, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, Maggiano’s Little Italy, Corner Bakery and On The Border Cantina.

MacGregor received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Indiana University, and her master’s degree from the University of North Texas. She is also a certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas and a current member of RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society).
