Golden Tulip Hospitality Commences 2007 With A Celebration
Over 250 business partners, hoteliers, investors and special guests joined Golden Tulip Hospitality to celebrate its 45th year anniversary as well as the opening of the first BRANCHE Restaurant, Bar & Lounge in the Netherlands
Amersfoort (NL)/Lausanne (CH) | The New Year’s reception took place on Thursday January 25th at the Golden Tulip Loosdrecht. With over 250 business partners, colleagues and special guests, Hans Kennedie, President & CEO of Golden Tulip gave a welcome speech and presented several new developments.
To toast the opening of the first BRANCHE Restaurant, Bar & Lounge in Holland and to start Golden Tulip’s 45th Anniversary celebrations, Mr. Tuinema (founder of Golden Tulip) and Mr. Joop Braakhekke joined Hans Kennedie to fill up the champagne tower.
In celebration of its 45 years anniversary, Hans Kennedie presented the 2007 Scholarship to the Golden Tulip Accra in Ghana. The Ambassador of Ghana Dr. Mrs. Grace Amponsah-Ababio attended the reception to receive the certificate.
This scholarship programme is a fully funded scholarship that will be awarded to employees of the hotels operated by Golden Tulip for the coming five years. The scholarships consist of a full Bachelor study at the Hotelschool in The Hague in Hospitality Management.
